At Bobbis World Kennel we help train pets to behave and be social. How is your pet training going at home? Your neighbors OK with your dog barking alot and digging up the yard? Need some help?
As Canine Good Citizen evaluators we can help you train your pet. Along with others.We all like to try to train our little darlings ourselves. We start off teaching too much too fast. We encourage our dog to jump up on us, but we don't want them to jump on friends and neighbors. Pets must have consistency in their life. They can learn what yes and what no means. And when it is OK. Pet Obedience training is important it could save your pets life.
Remember to always make sure when Fido comes to you , be happy! Use the word come as a happy word. Never mad. We want our dogs to be happy to come when we call them.
Praise them when they do what you ask of them.
We can get you started one on one. You and your pet learning how to sit, stay, heel, turn right and left and about turn, down, come when you call.
In 4 weeks one training lesson or more a week and practice at home your pet will be on his way to becoming a Canine Good Citizen. We do the testing at Bobbis World Kennels

Socialize your dog.
Let him be around people. Expose him to children and people in wheel chairs or shopping carts.
Going in front of the grocery store and letting people pet him or to the dog supremarket. Let him meet people. Don't over protect
him so he is affraid of people.
Avoid something that may be an unpleasant for him. When he goes to the Vet make sure
they play with him and bring some treats so the puppy knows the Vet is good person not to be feared. You reasure him of this.
Bring him, at a young age, to be groomed. He gets used to being handled by a groomer that knows puppies. The professionals know how to cut nails and give haircuts. I start grooming my Poodles at 3 weeks of age. Shaving their feet and face.They are very good about getting groomed at that age.
Keep your puppy on a leash to train. to walk ,even in the house for training. You can not control a puppy that is running off every time you open the door. Be consistant, everyone in your house needs to be on the same page. Make the rules and stick to them. At Bobbis World Kennel we have a great program for your dog to be socialand trained.

3) Appearance and Grooming
4)Out for a Walk( loose lead)
5)Walking through a Crowd
6)Sit and Down on command staying in place
7)Coming when called.
8)Reaction to another dog
9)Reaction to distractions
10) Supervisied Seperation
Some people may not have the time to get a Canine Good Citizen(title) but this type of training is fun and well worth the time you spend teaching your dog to be under your control. We can help you learn to be the leader. That training is alot of fun and that understanding your pet is a joy.
Remember patience,persistance and consistency and Fido will do anything you teach him.
