Tropical Toy Poodles born and raised in
Fort Lauderdale,South Florida,United States
Limited breeding,in our home with family.
American Kennel Club registered, microchipped,
and Sire and Dam health tested.
All puppy vaccinations start at 8 weeks of age.
And are keep up to date.
I breed for Good Confirmation and Temperment.
Only White Toy Poodles, keeping the American
Kennel club standard in mind. A Toy Poodle should
measure 10 inches at the shoulder, to be in size.

Maureen Russo has been breeding, grooming, and showing dogs since 1971.
Started showing German Shepherds as a kid with her mother, Bobbi McMahon.
Member and Training Director for the German Shepherd Club of Fort Lauderdale in 1975-1983
Approved by AKC and licensed to judge Poodles, American Cocker Spaniels and
Jr. Showmanship in 1996. In 2010 she was approved by AKC to Judge Chihuahuas and Pugs. When she
finishes her Provisionals she will apply for 4 more Toy breeds.
Once she has all the Toy breeds she wii be able to Judge Best In Show!

Maureen bred her first litter of Toy Poodles in 1983.
She started showing Toy Poodles in Confirmation in 1994 and bred her 1st Champion in 1996.
Patty, she is 15 years young.
Rene tests her dogs to make sure they are clear
of PRA, have normal Patella's and normal thyroid levels for a Toy Poodle.
Her kennel name,Tropical, was started with her friend Rose Thompson.
They bred together and produced beautiful puppies AKC Championship.
The most famous,"Champion Tropical's Some Like it Hot", "Marilyn" was #1 Toy Poodle 2001
Marilyn won her 6-9 puppy class at Poodle Club of America, 2000.
Defeating 20 puppies in her class.She won an Award of Merit at Poodle Club of America 2001,2002
She was invited to the Westminister Kennel Club in New York City in 2001 & 2002
won Award of Merit with handler Gina Wieser.
Best of Variety at the American Kennel Club Eukanuba Classic 2001
She has Multiple Toy Group 1st Wins. Best In Show at Poodle Specialties and
Best in Show at all breed shows.Thanks to Gina for the breeding to Jason
her Father and creating such a Special Girl in our Lives.
Marilyn is 12 years old now, she sleeps in our bed and is loved. l .
Marilyn has the best temperment and a joy to live with.
A Toy Poodle is, loyal, smart, easy to train and willing to please.
They do not think they are dogs.
Rene cares for alot of dogs daily,the Poodle has a special place in her heart
.
Devoting a lifetime to the breed.
April 2008 a wonderful litter of 3 puppies. One was sold as a pet.Tiger was too small.
Rene kept 2 of the puppies and they finished their AKC Championship as puppies.
"Charm" and "Sunny" also known as,
Grand Champion/ Champion Tropical's Charm My Heart &
Champion Tropical's House of the Rising Sun.
Dan Giles finished Sunny with 4 major wins, from the 6-9 Puppy class.
December he won Best of Breed at the Orlando Poodle Club Specialty
On the Flordia Classic Winter Circuit we started "Charm"
she was awarded Winners bitch 2 out of the 3 shows.
Charm won the next weekend and was awarded two more majors
at the Ft Lauderdale Dog Club shows by winning Best of Variety.
Charm finished her Championship in Orlando at Orlando Poodle Club in June 2009 .
She won Best of Winners and Best of opposite Sex to Sunny
winning Best of Variety.Thanks to Dan Giles and Karin Berlin.
Sunny traveled to shows all over the United States in 2009 with Sarah and Matt.
Sunny's first weekend as a Specials with Sarah Riedl,
a handler,member of Professional Handlers Association was exciting.
Sunny won back to back, Best of Variety and placed 3rd in the Toy Group
at Jupiter Kennel Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Sunny finished 2009 as the #4 Toy Poodle in the United States
and #2 Toy Poodle in the Toy Poodle Group
Sunny was invitied to the Westminister Kennel Club 2010.
Jack and Rene packed up and took Sunny on his first plane ride to New York City.
To the Madison Square Garden, The Westminister Dog Club Show! He was
invited to enter this show because he was in the TOP FIVE.
Sunny slept on the 2 hour flight to New York City in his travel bag between Rene's feet.
.The Hilton in Time Square is pet friendly and the rooms are big.
We had a view of the Empire State Building.We rested and got ready for our big day.
It was so exciting, all the people, fashion and the Top dogs from all over the country.

Sunny showed Monday Febuary 15th 2010,you can see him on video.
He is second in line when they start.You can watch any breed and see all the dogs entered.
He won an Award of Merit in New York that day.
If you come by our Kennel .You can meet him and his sister.
They play all day in the grooming room and kennel.
Sunny is home getting girlfriends.What a life!
In 2009 Charm went with Sarah as a Special. Charm was the # 3 Toy Poodle for 2010
Charm was invitied to the Eukanuba in Long Beach Calif, she won an Award of Merit.
"Grand Champion Tropical's Charm My Heart" is our 1st Bronze Grand Champion
"Our poodles get a lot of fun in the Sun" and as much time as possible on the tread mill.
The sun is healthy and helps to darken their pigment.
When we can not run outside, the treadmill is great exercise.
The next goal for Sunny and Charm is adding Canine Good Citizen and Rally titles
to their names.
